   Humanities and Social Science strand has become the most in-demand strand in Senior HighSchool since it has been preferred by most students who are potential public servants. Let me speak to you about the stuff you might expect about the holistic nature of the HUMSS. 10 Commonly used words: 1.  Behavior - The way in which an animal or person behaves in response to a particular situation or stimulus. 2.  Communication Studies or communication sciences - an academic discipline that deals with processes of human communication. There are three types of communication: verbal, involving listening to a person to understand the meaning of a message; written, in which a message is read; and nonverbal communication involving observing a person and inferring meaning. 3.  Community -it is a small or large social unit (a group of living things) who have something in common, such as norms, religion, values, or identity.
